WHAT IS "BOKEH" ANYWAY?

BREWING UP A FRESH POT

Remember that really cool picture you saw with all the lights blurred out in the background?. The way that those lights became blurry globes of light is bokeh. It's really only possible with a really shallow focus. It's better some lenses than others. The best way to get what you want is to just play around with focal lengths and the distance between your subject and the light.
